SPS/GZ’s staff includes a variety of professionals with experience in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, equity compensation, human resources, marketing, sales, software development and information technology.
Mary Pat is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Equity Professional and a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist with over 25 years of experience in stock plan administration, accounting, tax form and financial reporting, SEC compliance, financial forecasting and investor relations. Before co-founding SPS/GZ, she was an auditor for a “Big Four” accounting firm and served as Financial Reporting Manager at a global software company and at a national mortgage company, where she also managed the company’s initial public offering and all public-company functions, including its equity compensation plans. Mary Pat has also consulted and provided outsourcing and tax form reporting services for numerous public and private clients throughout the United States. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), Healthcare Reform Center & Policy Institute and Institute for Finance and Management. Mary Pat is a recognized expert in the accounting, reporting and tax aspects of equity compensation administration, as well as tax form reporting for Forms 3921/3922 (IRC 6039), Forms 1094-B/1095-B/1094-C/1095-C (Affordable Care Act – IRC 6055/6056) and Form 1099. She holds a B.S. in Accountancy from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
Rick is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) with more than 25 years of experience in stock plan administration and tax form reporting. He managed the stock plan administration department of a global technology company before co-founding SPS/GZ. Rick is recognized as a leader in the industry and has served on many panels related to best practices in stock plan administration and curriculum for the CEP program. He has consulted and provided outsourcing and tax form reporting services for numerous public and private clients throughout the United States. Rick is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and a regular speaker at industry conferences and executive roundtable forums. He holds a B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University.
Jordan has over 10 years of experience in equity compensation. Before joining SPS/GZ, he worked as a Client Service Manager for E*TRADE Corporate Services, specializing in participant and executive services, participant education, and market transaction executions. Jordan has supported equity compensation plan administration for companies of various sizes and from many different market sectors, assisting with implementations and special projects. He has expertise in Equity Edge Online and the E*TRADE brokerage platform and all related transactional matters. His experience with a wide variety of employee stock plans and companies provides him with a unique perspective to help clients identify and troubleshoot complex matters, while maintaining compliance and best practices. Jordan is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Phoenix.
Cameron is a Director of Client Support, Stock Plan Administration and a Certified Equity Professional with 10 years of experience in stock plan administration. Before joining SPS/GZ, he worked as a Client Service Manager for E*TRADE Corporate Services specializing in equity compensation administration. Cameron works with companies of all sizes, both private and public. He has expertise in the Equity Edge Online platform and all related transactional and reporting matters. He helps companies resolve complex equity compliance issues and employ industry best practices. Cameron is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.
Jimmy has over 20 years of experience in financial services, including retail and institutional investing, as well as equity compensation administration. Before joining SPS/GZ, he worked as a Client Success Manager for Morgan Stanley At Work, specializing in Mid-Market outsourced and co-sourced clients on the Equity Edge Online Platform, as well as serving as a relationship manager and trader at several large financial institutions. Jimmy has a breadth of knowledge in capital markets and trade settlement, lending expertise to public clients on intricate transactional matters. Jimmy is a native of New York City and holds a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from Fordham University, as well as Series 7 and 63 licenses. He is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.
Kathryn is a Director of Client Support, Tax Form Reporting and a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist with over 15 years of experience in Project Management and Human Resources. Before joining SPS/GZ, she worked at a growing software development firm in the Chicago area, managing the staff of 75 employees locally and 20 employees between two satellite offices on the East Coast. Kathryn worked with the sales team to effectively communicate the needs of clients and support their requests for training, software development and proposals. Kathryn’s primary role at SPS/GZ is business development and supporting clients in the tax form area, including 1098/1099 form reporting, IRC 6039 and Affordable Care Act (IRC 6055/6056) and is a member of the Healthcare Reform Center & Policy Institute and Institute for Finance and Management. She assists with proposals, employee data verification and client support for the filing and mailing of Forms 1098/1099/3921/3922/1094-B/1095-B/1094-C/1095-C. Kathryn holds a B.A. in Marketing from Loras College in Dubuque, IA.
Doris is an experienced Sales and Client Relationship Manager with over 20 years of experience in Corporate Sales and Client Service & Support. Before joining SPS/GZ, she worked at a growing corporate recruiting firm, as well as a computer supply company. Doris managed a large team of Inside Salespersons, placed dozens of corporate executives in new positions and helped roll out successful new service offerings, serving in both a sales and client support role. Doris’ primary role at SPS/GZ is new client development, including onboarding and client care primarily in the tax form area. She is a member of the Institute for Finance and Management.
